The Role:
We're hiring a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Milano/Rome region, Italy.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients across all BioPharm markets- Develop account plan(s) and delivery mechanisms to enable meeting/exceeding target- Build and explore in-depth understanding of the customer's business, industry, strategic direction & competitors- Develop strategic, value added partnership with the customer by working with the key decision makers & influencers to position long term strategic issues and solutions- Build understanding of full WC's capabilities and service/product offerings in the customer arena- Deal with all aspects of specific marketing campaigns, tradeshows & seminars- Identify, qualify and prioritize all potential opportunities related to the account(s)- Engage regional WC operatives to identify opportunities to position their services into the account(s)- Work with multi-functional departments to guide development of solutions to the customer- Deliver solutions which are highly valued by the customer as high impact, complex and strategic- Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve quality through specific metrics, customer satisfaction and issue resolution- Identify risk areas & build and manage contingency to mitigate- Maintaining all CRM data systems, including account set up, credit control & monthly reports
What your background should look like
- KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Previous experience in Sales department- Graduate degree- Languages: Fluent in Italian & English- Experience working with pharmaceutical/life science industry would be beneficial- Professional experience in Business development in the transport sector- Outgoing, energetic personality- Strong communication, relationship building, and presentation skills- Motivated to succeed- Goal oriented- Strong customer focus- Self dependent- Proficient in Microsoft Office-
- Able to follow procedures & instructions- Able to provide relevant information on request- Good communication skills - verbally & written- Professionalism & credibility at the highest levels- Relationship management
