As our new Business Development Manager; you will be working proactively and make the next step forward with us.
We are looking for a colleague who will work together with a great team of dynamic, innovative and motivated people.
Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business by coordinating all business development actions + triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a country or cluster level.
You will directly report to Head of Business Development and responsible for;
- Actively and proactively building sales leads.
- Participating in targeted networking events and conferences to forge new business connections.
- Actively looking for short-term and long-term tender (RFQ) business possibilities.
- Creating a local business plan and increase your presence locally for all your logístical and service offerings.
- Establishing the local value proposition and collaborate closely with the local product organization to boost sales and support the P&L of the local product.
- Creating worldwide account business plans that include ocean and logístical services items.
- Creating E2E solutions that drive revenue development across products by defining the global value proposition and working closely with customer solutions.
- Promoting the global value proposition and the whole customer experience.
- Coordinating the worldwide team across functions, goods, and regions to improve the overall customer experience.
- Ensure effective contract compliance and business onboarding.
- Promoting our organization to local decision-makers in the country who can affect the outcome of international tenders and to local decision-makers in the global marketplace.
- Seting up our business to have access to the appropriate decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers across the client organization.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply chain Marketing, or other relevant studies.
- Industry expertise and experience in supply chain, logistics and sales.
- Strong product-specific supply chain knowledge and the capacity to recognize and address the pain points of various customers.
- Good analytical skills and reporting to go with It.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Driven, ambitious, and tenacious enough to overcome obstacles and close deals.
- Preferably previous sales or business development experience in the logistics and supply chain sector.
