**Business Development Manager - Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology**
**Salary: €60k - €70k basic + bonus%**
**Location: Home based - covering Spain / Italy.
**
Do you have a proven track record in sales / business development and want to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment within the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry?
The purpose of this role is to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and grow revenue, primarily in the product sectors defined.
You will be responsible for delivery of the sales revenue achievement for the defined sector in the assigned territory.
The Required Outcome is a sector and territory understanding of the sales potential and market drivers to ensure continued sales growth and market intelligence as well as a continuity of the promotion of the highest-level Sales delivery of products and services available.
**'Business Development Manager - Pharmaceutical' Key Responsibilities**:
- Build and execute business plans to deliver revenue goals, within the assigned territory across pharmaceutical and biotechnology products and services portfolio.
- Provide excellent Key Account Management, build and manage strategic and senior level customer relationships.
- Drive new customer acquisition
- Executive group marketing strategies
- Advocate customer needs and align the business to these.
- Develop territory and account plans, utilizing company CRM system on a routine basis.
- Provide performance reports and metrics at sales review meetings
- Identify areas for improvement and planned actions, sharing best practices.
- Up to date knowledge of product and industry developments.
**'Business Development Manager - Pharmaceutical' Key Skills**:
- MSc - Chemistry of Biochemistry area
- Proven track record (minimum of 5 years) in a sales position within the pharmaceutical, biotech or life science space - ideally in the field of lab consumables or products
- Full clean driving licence is essential
- Fluency in English, Spanish and Italian are essential
- Understands how to work within and delivering results, through a matrix organisation**.

**Salary**: €60,000.00 - €70,000.00 per year
