**About The Job** - You will be based in Italy as part of our international commercial team - You are passionate about the opportunity to shape the future of how we use and build technology and align the local requirements to our product team - You will be working with partners (e.g.
energy consultants), discovering local opportunities, engaging with stakeholders and acting as the commercial representative of Sympower in Italy - You will roll out a go to market strategy to successfully develop partnerships (and customer relations) in the energy domain.
- You will be responsible for the full business development cycle: from first contact with the counterpartners until the handover to implementation - You love to build new relationships and close deals that benefit both Sympower and your partner **What you'll do**: - Develop partnerships of Sympower in Italy - Develop and launch a go to market strategy for Sympower in Italy (partners, proposition, business case) - Business development: jointly with our engineers and analysts, you will set up technical and financial cases for our customers - Present Sympower successfully to leads, partners and other stakeholders - Work closely with partners and build strong relationships - Prepare a smooth hand-over to implementation engineers - Be in close contact and lobby if needed with the TSO in Italy - Become an expert in the wholesale and balancing markets - Be proactive in new advancements in our industry and advise Sympower on new product development - Building relationships with new commercial partners in highly dynamic market segments such as energy storage, smart buildings and appliances **What you'll need**: - Educational background in energy, engineering and/or business - Minimum 3 years of experience working in the energy domain - Fluent English, verbal and written - Fluent in Italian language - Strong people skills & ability to build long-term partnerships - Excellent communication skills - Valid EU residence permit - Comfortable in an international, fast-paced, scale-up environment - Eager to take initiative and ownership - Availability on a full time basis - Availability to travel (within and outside of Italy) **Beneficial skills** - Knowledge of flexibility solutions in electricity domain - Experience in consultative selling - Alignment with our mission of contributing to the energy transition **Benefits** - Impactful work - you have the opportunity to contribute to the fight against climate change - Competitive market salary - International and fast-paced environment - Social events - Challenging international role with lots of opportunities for personal growth - Opportunities for professional development through training and mentoring - Flexible working hours and remote work - Offices in the centre of Amsterdam, Turku, Tartu, Stockholm and Athens - Sympower is an equal opportunity employer.
