Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Directly reporting to: Head of Sales & Marketing
Main responsabilities:
New Sales:
1.
Delivering expected sales results (most notably contract value, revenues,
number and profile of new clients) while ensuring that the actions taken
are in full alignment with the overall business strategy and goals;
2.
Planning and executing a compelling strategy for identifying the most
appropriate commercial partners to accelerate market penetration and
deliver the set revenue goals;
3.
Implementing a plan to continuously improve the quality and
effectiveness of each existing partnership;
4.
Providing proper sales training to partners and, when needed, for internal
staff;
5.
Acquiring of new, medium-large Italian and International clients by
approaching potential targets directly;
Location: Milan
Experience and background:
- has at least 15 years of working experience, at least 5 of which spent in a highimpact,
consultative sales and account management roles with proven
success track record, possibly with international client portfolio;
- has a solid experience in selling SaaS solutions and/or digital marketing services to
both large and medium-sized enterprise clients, preferably in the fashion,
apparel, and luxury industry;
- has extensive experience in initiating and managing commercial partnerships with
international business partners;
- has in-depth, hands-on knowledge of digital marketing in both the B2B and B2C
space.
Personal skills:
- Solid 360 degree management skills (leadership, planning, organization
and execution, collaboration, oversight, etc.
), ideally acquired as a result
of having worked for high-performing, international corporations;
- Outstanding "people skills";
- Consultative sales and account management skills from qualification to
closing;
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation to
small and large audiences;
English fluent/mothertongue
