**About The Role**:
The Business development specialist will help to drive sales and business growth by analyzing and identifying market opportunities, translating those to solutions include both are current and potential future products, attracting new clients and conducting market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects and identifying opportunities.
He/she will work with various departments and report to EMEA Head of Business Development.
**Responsibilities**:
Identify and understand current and future customer needs and opportunities to introduce and sell products and solutions to the customer.
Promote TE APL technologies and product portfolio with the customer and drive projects.
Conducting market research/analysis and identifying potential new clients or vertical markets for existing product portfolio and new product requirements for existing markets
Proactively address open customer issues, including quality issues, until appropriate closure.
Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships, with special focus on Distribution partners
Generating new projects and initiatives to accomplish above targets
Maintaining client information in the CRM database.
Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies, with special interactions with Product management and Sales tams
Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Identify new business opportunities and partners.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
