Business Controlling Energy Retail Department in CFO Area, at Customer Solution Italy is looking for a/an: Business Controller with focus on Future Energy Home (m/f) Your responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets related to the Future Energy Home business.Analyze financial data and performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful analysis of the local business solution with respect to:Monthly-end performance reportingForecasting, budgeting, and mid-term planningProjects performanceBusiness profitabilityMonitor and control costs, expenses, and budgets. Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.Perform Quarterly Closing activity in the system (SAP) with strong interaction with the accounting team:SAP extraction and analysisReclassification between business or marginCalculation and management of the accrual with the accounting departmentPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for local and/or group management.Support in the preparation of business cases and investment proposals.Deal with group internal investment proposals in line with the respective guidelines, including the preparation of post-completion audits on finalized projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and provide financial guidance.Prepare regular Business Reviews with the local management as well as with various stakeholders and propose, where necessary, short- or mid-term countermeasures.Act as a sparring partner to the local and central management to steer the business properly.Ensure consistent standards in terms of process and documentation quality.Participate in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Reporting line to the Head of Business Controlling Energy Retail Italy.
Qualifications: Successful completion of academic studies in the field of business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling/accounting/finance. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.Comprehensive work experience in Finance or Controlling (2-3 years) experience in an international energy sector environment is a plus.Knowledge of general ledger and cost accounting methods and techniques.Profound knowledge of financial reporting landscape and accounting systems and processes, including SAP CO/FI.Analytical thinker with effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, able to succeed in a team of highly motivated and talented individuals.Well-organized individual, with proven ability to perform under time pressure and to juggle competing deadlines.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Highly reliable character, taking ownership and showing a strong commitment to excellence, including attention to detail and accuracy.Open personality and internationally minded; highly motivated and willing to roll up sleeves.Fluent in English and Italian language.Do you have questions?
