Business Controller

Business Controller (located in Italy)

Report to: Group Controller A&CT

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage Budgeting, Forecasting, Operational planning

Supervise projects planning and monitor projects performance

Team with sales, project managers and supply chain management to ensure work in progress and inventory optimization

Support production planning, manufacturing, purchasing and shipping departments to ensure efficient operations, sourcing and procurement

Minimize unbilled services and materials and overdue receivables

Oversees Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports ensuring compliance with HQ due dates and standards

Lead communication of financial performance to local and group management

Works with managers to implement Group and Company's policies and goals

Make sure procedures comply with Group Policies regulations

Manage outsourcers (consultants, public accountants, …)

Supervise the maintenance of statutory books

Partner with the business in driving key business goals and initiatives

Profile

Degree in Economics

Master post Degree

Fluent in English and German (or French or Chinese)

Min 4/5 yrs of Experience in the role

Availability to travel

Strong focus on projects and financial planning and analysis and working capital and cash optimization

Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Experience with SAP and a consolidation software

Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills – ability to establish and work cross functional relationships

Self motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new project

Knowledge and understanding of corporate and plant reporting policies and key measurements

Proven leadership and possession of problem solving and analytical skills

Multi-tasker, with the ability to wear many hats in a flexible environment

Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the company
