To strengthen our DTC Department, we are looking for a Business and Operations Manager that will be based in Milan.
As the Business and Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our DTC initiatives. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing operations across retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, and special sales to achieve business objectives.
This position requires a strategic mindset, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities:Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations across retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, and special sales to ensure seamless execution and alignment with overall business objectives. Optimize processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, meet business targets, and exceed customer expectations.Sales Growth and Performance Analysis:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that maximize revenue. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all DTC channels to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales and operational efficiency.Team Coordination:
Act as the central point of coordination among colleagues working across retail, e-commerce, and marketplaces, ensuring smooth collaboration. Support Retail Store Managers by focusing on driving sales growth and optimizing organizational efficiency, including people management and operational procedures.Project Management:
Lead and manage special projects, such as store openings or closings, promotional campaigns, and operational initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently. Oversee timely delivery and successful implementation of all initiatives to meet business objectives.Cost Control:
Manage relationships with retail suppliers, monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with budget goals. Review and evaluate vendor contracts, negotiating terms when necessary to optimize value and performance.Minimum Requirements:Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within retail or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage relationships with colleagues and external partners.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly in a professional setting.
