The Senior Business Analyst & Project Manager manages the implementation, optimization and development of Digital Transformation and Life Science technology solutions and services.Following the prospects from the pre-sale phase, he/she conducts analyses on clients' processes to collect their business requirements to identify and propose efficient solutions, granting that the clients' expectations are satisfied.The Senior Business Analyst & Project Manager manages and is accountable for the direction of complex projects, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion, ensuring planned profitability and consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.He/She liaises with the Business Development Team and the Managing Director to support Company innovation, digital transformation and process improvement.
Principal Accountabilities
- To identify business and technology requirements of multiple stakeholders
- To Analyze business needs, translating them into functional and/or non-functional specifications
- To liaise with Business Development team to identify the clients' needs and to define cost estimates, providing support in the pre-sales phase
- To develop work plans and time schedules, establishing budget in terms of time and resources, identifying project resources, consultants and equipment together with function managers
- To define and review business cases and requirements on a regular basis to ensure clients' requests are fulfilled
- To partner with Business Development Team and the Managing Director to support Company innovation, digital transformation and process improvement
- To partner with the end users, work with project sponsors and other management to establish progress and direction of the project by achieving goals, reaching milestones, solving problems, mitigating risks.
- To escalate to the Service Delivery Manager in case of Major/Critical risks for the project or corruption of client relationship
- To manage the technology, project stakeholders, changes and risks in order to achieve goals, reach milestones and deliver the project on time and within budget ensuring the company reaches the planned profitability.
- To manage the project team by creating an environment conducive to the delivery the services in the most cost-effective manner and respecting internal and client quality and regulatory requirements
- To engage the project team in order to have a positive and proactive environment within the project team
- To be able to manage uncertainty, rapid change, ambiguity and a less defined environment.
- To drive the project by leading by example, and motivating all concerned until the project accomplishes its goal.
- To manage external vendor for the supply of project components (licensing, services, consultancy) ensuring the fit for use within the budget and the scope of the project
- To track and assess project SLA
- To ensure that the company's tools for project management and team allocation are continuously and correctly updated
Professional Background and Experience
At least 2 years of experience as Business Analyst and Project Manager in a technology environment in the Life Science sector

- Good Knowledge of Life Sciences and GxP environment
- Good Knowledge of Computer System Validation processes
- Good Knowledge of Project Management techniques and tools
- Knowledge of norm ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 9001
- Knowledge of IT process and business analysis techniques
