To support this vision, we need exceptionally talented, bright and driven people.If you would like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to work hard, have fun, and make history.We are looking for a self-starter with strong analytics experience who can work on complex business problems, help provide actionable recommendations in a structured and accurate manner.As a Business Analyst, the candidate will play a key role in the development of key business metrics, reports and insights using data visualization, as required.Business Analyst will be expected to be skilled in understanding customer needs, converting them to analysis requirements, having working knowledge of data availability in various sources, building stakeholder confidence through effective communication and derive recommendations.The candidate would also be responsible for the project plan, scaling of data processes and reports, and project timeline and deliverables.The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and large datasets.They will have strong attention to detail, SQL skills, experience with statistical analysis tools, and the ability to clearly communicate and present data insights.Key job responsibilities:Solve ambiguous problems with less well-defined inputs and outputs; drive to the heart of the problem and identify root causes.Identify, develop and execute data analysis to uncover areas of business opportunities.Learn and understand the broad range of Amazon's data resources and develop knowledge of how, when and which data sources to use.Deep dive into massive data sets to answer key business questions using SQL, MS Excel and data analytics tools.Build new reports/dashboards to enable emerging business use cases.Present written recommendations and insights to key stakeholders.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience- 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience- Bachelor's degree- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL- Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level- Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similarPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into analyses and actionable insights.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
