**Duties**:
- Plans, directs and supervises activities of all aspects of assigned facilities.
Has daily interface with patrons of the facilities, ensures customer satisfaction.
- Duties encompass training and administration of employees, financial success of the activities, continous review and improvement of processes, and the primary goal of ensuring the highest quality of services are provided by staff for the patrons.
Reviews current expenditures for facility operations and maintenance activities, estimates projected costs, assists in developing the overall financial plan for facilities.
- Prepares/submits annual budget following general direction on preparation provided by higher authority.
Monitors variances of budget and recommends changes as necessary.

- Incumbent is responsible for achieving budgeted cost of goods by minimizing food waste and spoilage, development of valid par levels, solid stock control and taking of accurate inventories.

- Ensure routine unannounced cash counts occur.
Investigates and reports significant shortages and discrepancies.
- Reviews all purchase requests, issues and receive reports and invoices for accuracy.
At the end of the month checks SAP variance reports and make adjustments as appropriate.
Provides guidance up and down the chain in reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and reporting on the financial success of the program.
Ensures that effective controls are in place to maintain accountability for all funds under the incumbent's purview.
- Incumbent is responsible for the execution of the business plan in support of the Regional Business Plan.
- Incumbent is responsible for annual marketing plan of all Business Activity facilities.
- Responsible for reapairs and maintenance of assiged facilities.
Evaluates need for all maintenance requirements and initiates, monitors and ensures closure of all work requests.
Constantly maintains the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation of assigned facilities.
Take immediate action to correct any noted discrepancies.
Assures that all equipment is maintained and safety regulations are followed.
- Stays abreast of technical advances, changes and trends in the industry, to determine customer preferences, recommend new ideas that will improve operations.
- Interfaces with the MWR Director in the planning of menus, cost controls and accountability of funds and equipment.
Ensures effective controls are in place to maintain accountability of funds.
Insures cost control procedures are followed and advises of any changes thereof.
Provides oversight of operations and problem solving/guidance as needed.
- Provides information and data to assist in the formulation of local instructions and directives within the framework of regional and base policies concerning established social and entertainment services or programs, subordinate reporting procedures, maintenance, modernization or other related operational requirements.
- Verifies that receipts are properly deposited and required financial records and reports are prepared and maintained.

- Responsible for preparing inspection responses (HAZMAT, Sanitation, OSHA.
Fire & Safety) and NAF Audit responses (consumables, fixed assets, minor property, etc.

- Oversees daily operations and is physically present on the floor during peak operation periods when facility managers are not on site.
Coordinates work between the various functions, and attends special events and functions.
- Provides advice, counsel, or instruction on work and administrative matters.

- Ensure weekly labor schedules are prepared and monitors schedule on a daily basis ensuring that labor is adjusted to fluctuations of revenue in a timely manner.
Review and approve schedule for operational supervisors and employees.

Conduct check on employee efficiency and controls.
- Sets performance standards for subordinates.
