BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We looking for a Bus Operation Spectator Manager.
The Bus Operation Manager will be responsible for the Bus Operations Project development focusing on the spectator services. He or she will be part of the Transport team, responsible for reliable, sustainable and efficient transport services to, from and around all the Olympic venues. He/She will be managing individuals assigned to the project.
Determining the service levels of bus services, dealing with Host Territories and Local Authorities responsible for public transport; Organise the work plan of the Bus Operation Spectator team that will be involved in the project and manage deadlines and workloads; Complete the data framework necessary for the development of the project, interfacing with other colleagues in the Transport Department; Ensure the contractual and operational relationship with operators at the planning and operational planning stage; Interface with the other functional areas within the Transport Department to verify the progress of infrastructural interventions and the availability of bus routes, parking and stopping facilities; Interface with the City Operations functional area and Event Delivery Entities to verify the progress of all transport activities in the different Olympic clusters; Requirements
Minimum 7 years of working experience in the field of Public or Private (Bus) Transport; Experience with the planning and operation of public transport services; Knowledge of Mobility and Transports Operations within the scope of big Sport Events or other kind of International Events is preferred; Knowledge of the territories and various Olympic Clusters is preferred; Experience in managing relations with Local Authorities and Entities; Experience with budget management and managing of operational activities in relation to transport services; Ability to adapt to a changing and complex environment; Ability to collaborate effectively with other Functional Areas within the Organization and with External Clients, Host Territories, Local Authorities and Bus Operators outside the organization; Flexibility and comfort with traveling as required; English: level C1 or equivalent certification; Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
