Job Description The Bureau Operations Coordinator will work with the local Olympic operations team in preparation for NBC Olympics' coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympics in Milan, Italy. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Features Prod Management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide support for the entire NBC Olympics operations team and local bureau.Set up and execute local logistics for traveling NBC Olympics personnel (hotel reservations, ground transportation bookings, schedule creation, etc.).Support teams with office administrative tasks (adhere to administrative/corporate processes and procedures, coordinate schedules, etc.).Provide database support using internal systems.Provide additional operational support on various projects as assigned.On site at various venues/locations throughout Milan and other Olympic regions for surveys, meetings, and filming when assigned.Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in film, television, and/or event operation.Requires excellent bilingual skills (Italian/English), must be able to read/write/speak fluently.Strong proficiency and business experience with various computer applications: Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.Ability to quickly adapt to internal systems essential.Familiar with working in a multinational environment.Must be local to Milan and able to travel to work locations daily (provide own accommodation).Flexibility to work weekends/long hours as required.Olympic experience an asset.Desired Characteristics: Strong work ethic, flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn/take initiative essential.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines, simultaneously handling multiple projects.Passionate and enthusiastic.Additional Information: As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
