American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Building Coach at our Anthem South Junior High/High School located in Florence for the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitates the professional development of teachers with a focus on improving student achievementCreates positive, professional relationships with teachers and administratorsCommunicates and demonstrates instructional practices that result in increased student performanceProvides individualized, classroom-based coaching with teachers to support them in implementing sound instructional practicesProvides organized, individual and/or group learning opportunities for teachers as neededProvides support in analyzing student assessment dataAssists teachers with designing instructional decisions based on assessment dataProvides support in the form of mentorship, or co-teaching to convey effective classroom management strategiesProvides teachers resources related to curriculum and instructionModels effective instruction when neededInitiates the Collaborative Observation Process by scheduling observations, collecting evidence related to the Danielson Framework, and leading reflection conferencesAttends RFT/SST Team, Campus and District meetings/trainings as directedAssists and/or coordinates the implementation and interpretation of a comprehensive needs assessment with Administration and Federal Programs DirectorMinimum Requirements Valid AZ Teaching CertificateValid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardBachelor's Degree in related field3-5 years experience as a classroom teacher with evidence of student data as proof of effectivenessTrained in the Danielson Framework for Teaching (Introduction & Observation Skills)Trained in the Learning Focused Conversation MethodPreferred Requirements 3-5 years experience as Instructional Coach in K-12 environmentAmerican Leadership Academy offers a competitive salary that is individually determined based on education and experience.
