In a highly market facing role your key mission is nourishing partnerships with clients and brokers to support business development, while granting high profile client relationship experience.
As Broker Relationship Manager you will manage the ongoing commercial clients portfolio, retain, renew and build partnerships being the intermediary between them and Underwriting and Operations teams.
The Broker Relationship Manager is responsible for: Customer Management: Independently managing accounts by coordinating all services, maintaining and enhancing the company's relationships with existing and new clients by executing proactive and ongoing contact initiatives.
Using industry and customer data analysis, address clients' needs and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Expanding existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending and implementing proper coverage Increasing the profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added-value services Looking for client solutions on a Group perspective Maintaining timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients and company colleagues Knowledge management: Proactively maintaining partnership with the underwriting department by keeping them informed of pertinent information regarding accounts.
Liaising with colleagues, researching and maintaining industry knowledge of developing trends regarding underwriting, appetite and pricing changes.
You will report to Head of Distribution & Market Strategy, Italy We're looking for someone who has these qualifications and skills: Knowledge of the insurance industry or proven experience in insurance sector Proficiency in Italian and English.
Data-driven approach to the market: leveraging technology and data to understand and anticipate customer needs and behaviors.
Systematic approach to the Business and Analytical skills in building and execute ad-hoc business plan to deliver Market strategy projects.
Place the customer at the center of all decisions and actions.
Listen and understand customer's needs and requirements; Use empathic listening and formulate customized advices and solutions.
Act as a brand ambassador.
Effective communication and relations skills to interact with C-Level internal and external professionals.
Adapt continuously and flexibly to new circumstances, accept and support changes.
Operate beyond rule-based procedures and think out of the box.
Demonstrate appetite for the unknown and ability to learn quickly; learn from failures and keep a self-learning attitude during his/her working life.
