The position Brand Manager OTC products Responsible for executional marketing excellence of the assigned brands at local level, provides input into the strategy with Head of marketing and Regional Marketing, and is accountable for the development and execution of the marketing plans for specific brands, to ensure alignment to the larger category and business objectives. He/she will sit on multiple internal and external cross-functional teams.
The role Execution of Affiliate Category and Brand Planning: Understand and analyze the market and the global strategies to understand, adapt and translate into local plans leading to business success.Develop local strategy, planning and activation for assigned brands/products.Execute the roll out of local Marketing Campaigns, including preparation of the Sales team, in order to achieve Sales Targets.Build metrics to track success and identify gaps versus planned outcomes. Adapt strategies and plans accordingly.Partner on all the above with local and global teams as appropriate (e.g. Sales Managers, Global Category Team, etc.).Communication material: Develop brand specific promotional activities, aligned with Regional directions. Work closely with Trade Marketing Manager to develop clear customer and consumer value propositions and effective channel brand activation plans.Work closely with Digital Manager to develop and manage an omnichannel customer experience.Work closely with internal functions (Regulatory, Legal, etc.) to ensure compliance with all GPP requirements in order to guarantee the right approval process.Brief and drive external agencies involved in the design and production of marketing material.Expenditure, Production & Sales Forecasting: Manage Marketing Operational Expenditure (Opex) and resource allocation.Closely collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal product supply/write off minimization.Customer Centricity: Analyze needs and requirements by interacting with customers, consumers, and Sales teams.Define and execute appropriate market research to determine customer needs and behaviors, and to evaluate and steer investments in order to maximise ROI.Spend time in the field as needed to support Sales teams, meeting customers and consumers and gathering feedback on a first-hand basis.Contribute to definition of product pricing, in collaboration with Head of Marketing and Head of Sales.Develop and maintain business relationships with key business partners: Build positive and constructive relationships with relevant external scientific bodies and KOLs.Build relationships with and manage effectively suppliers like advertising agencies, media agency, key vendors etc.Requirements Degree level: Degree in Economics / Marketing. MBA or professional marketing qualification is a plus.
5+ years of experience in OTC/FMCG marketing roles, preferably in pet health market, pharmaceutical, life sciences.
