Position Summary: Co-ordinate and implement marketing plans targeted to retailers and shoppers to deliver in-store excellence and drive business growth for the brands consistent with the Global marketing cycle plan and global direction. Champions and communicates brand activation plans to local sales teams. Manages product portfolio execution.
Responsibilities: Develops a detailed understanding of all aspects of the market using global insights plus local category, trade, shopper & consumer and competitor data that provides competitive advantage. Works with Senior Brand Manager to build the annual Marketing Plans and ensure local deployment and roll-out or the strategies. Builds a winning program of activities and initiatives in line with global direction and International marketing cycle plan that drives consumer and shopper interest to meet agreed sales and margin targets. Develops impactful ATL campaigns, and proactively leverages any ATL spend in market plans. Adapts and leverages central Visibility tools and assets to provide best in class retail presence and in-store communication (display, SBS, POSM...) Develops and oversees implementation of local consumer activation programs for the portfolio. Works closely with local sales teams to maximize opportunities and ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans within major channels and customers. Produces and distributes trade catalogues, selling sheets needed by Sales to communicate activation plans and activities to customers. Coordinates with and manages local creative/activation agencies as required. Analyses and evaluates implementation of key plans and activities on business and brand equity to maximize effectiveness and provide future improvement. Manages all aspects of portfolio management including but not limited to product range, pricing, range optimization, promotional packs and new product launches. Liaises with cross functional departments to ensure seamless execution of in-market initiatives (e.g. forecasting, inventory management, Financials and Trade stories).
