BoM & CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT ENGINEER - GAS TURBINES
Job location: Florence
Role Overview:
The selected resource, acting within a well-structured Configuration Management Support Engineering team dealing with Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative Turbines, will be in charge for gathering, tracking and formalizing – through the release of appropriate project technical documentation to the Customer, and managing project technical informations and project workflow on ERP platform - all the technical datas and requirements for each project, partnering with other functions involved (Engineering, Procurement, Planning, etc) and giving prompt answers to Customer's comments, questions, integration and/or change requests, coherently with company's policies, with Project Engineers, and with the scope of work of each project assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
BSc / MSc Mechanical or Energy Engineering Degree or similar background
Fair knowledge of technical design, ability for reading / interpreting drafts (CAD expertise advantageous but not mandatory)
Good command of English language
Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of turbomachines advantageous but not mandatory
Commitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability
Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent team-work attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Availability for business travels (short & long term travels)
