Primary Responsibilities As legal advisor within the Corporate & Institutional Banking of BNP Paribas, you'll work within the securities services business line (CIB2S) legal department, in a friendly and international environment, providing in-house legal assistance advisory services to CIB2S business lines, operational and functional staff. Your work will be conducted under the supervision of the head of legal of CIB2S Italian legal department to whom you will hierarchically report. As legal advisor you will be in charge of the following:Provide legal support to existing business lines (Clearing and Custody Services – CCS, Asset and Fund Services – AFS, Corporate Trust Services – CTS, Market and Financing Services – MFS) of CIB2S;In this respect you will notably:a) Assist and take part in the negotiation and establishment of agreements for new clients or new deals with existing clients;b) Assist and draft template agreements and ensure that those are consistent with CIB2S legal department guidelines and/or standards, if any; c) Maintain the standard legal documentation up to date by including those required changes consequent to changes in law, regulation and/or commercial and operational changes;d) Participate to the definition and implementation of new product/service by CIB2S, notably attending and providing legal advice to the relevant committees;e) Provide support to all business lines of CIB2S in order to anticipate potential legal issues and identify future legal requirements;f) Review and amend as required legal documents which are submitted to CIB2S for signing as securities services provider;g) Review and draft agreements with service providers, including IT vendors;h) Keep up to date with regulatory and legal environment and apply required changes to the CIB2S activities and framework.A good knowledge of GDPR will be a plus.In accordance with CIB2S Legal department procedures and policies, you will also assist CIB2S Milan branch in the field of seizure procedures with public authorities, and in the field of implementation and monitoring of legal corporate fulfilments, signatories and power of attorney.
