bureau69 architect is looking for a creative and technical Architect with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Sicily or work remotely on our residential and commercial projects.The right candidate will have strong creative skills and also be able to conceptualize outstanding architectural solutions concerning the brief and the client's requirements (budget, timeline, level of standard).The studio has a small local team and also is connected internationally with other professionals always looking to expand the work opportunities in Italy and abroad.
We participate in international design competitions and we do partnerships with foreign architects.The candidate will be at ease in dealing with external consultants such as engineers, designers, and specialists and coordinate all the information provided that will be included and considered in the design process.The Architect will be involved in the design process from concept to detailed design, and the position requires a considerable understanding of architectural principles, technical drawings, knowledge of construction phases, passion for details and high-end customizable design.The studio is small, friendly, informal, with high energy and involves people from different cultures.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, produce, and execute conceptual designs and renders reporting to the director and in coordination with other members of the team.Produce architectural drawings and presentation documents from concept through to as-built stages with high standard quality either using CAD and BIM software in coordination with the consultants and designers involved in the project.Provide leadership and guidance to development teams.Deliver prompt architectural and technical solutions to problems when required.Capacity to foresee potential issues and design with a creative and pragmatic mentality.High level and smooth communication in Italian and English.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.3 to 5 years of experience in Architecture and interior design.Experience working on high-end residential projects (new build and renovation) in a private studio.Passion and knowledge of material properties and innovative solutions.Strong attention to detail.Good English and Italian, both written and verbal.Proficient usage of AutoCAD and Revit, Twinmotion or similar, Adobe suite.High result-driven, excellent organization, good self-management of tasks and priorities.Ready to work as a freelancer.Outstanding portfolio of residential and interior design projects.Proactive and stimulating approach, curiosity within the architecture and design industry, and passion to grow with the studio.Salary and benefits are competitive and based on candidate experience.NOTE: We will only consider applications submitted by email at ******.
