The position holds responsibility for handling tender and contract activities together with Sales and Marketing in order to meet targets and fulfill demands in the market.
In addition, the position will support the development of pricing schemes and run profitability analysis.
Responsibilities Manage day-to-day tasks in the Bids and Tender department; Local process work with Tender management and Contract management, adhering to and working in accordance with all related work instructions; Proactive tender management coordination in all phases of the Procurement and Contract lifetime; Support price and margin calculations; Maintain close cooperation with all stakeholders both internal and external; Manage and develop the tender management process, looking for continuous improvements; Use all valid Bids and Tenders tools to secure Compliance and Control; Secure a strong network with Country Sales and Marketing Management within the Medical Device Segment; Coordinate and engage in the continuous work with multiple Business Systems; Follow and adhere to all rules and regulations (internal as well as external) within the department responsibility.
Qualifications Experience or knowledge about public procurement, purchase law, and contract law; Experience in a fast-paced organization with a quick and pragmatic decision-making approach; Understanding of local Health Care systems; Good experience within the Bids and Tenders area; Strong negotiation skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Financial awareness and numerical skills; Extensive computer software package skills (Excel); Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team; Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills; Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions; Strong level of English – written and spoken; Must be very attentive and precise; Able to uphold Cordis values.
