The activity of NAS domain includes avionics, navigation, and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies, and Air Force around the world.
Italy is the Group's Competence Center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.Main tasks:Bid management of Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS-NAS) customer offersWorking effectively with the Capture Leader to generate win teams that link customer needs with defined benefits of the Thales offeringProviding supervision to the Bid Team to ensure that key relationships are being effectively managed and that vital customers, industry, and business knowledge and networks are being effectively utilized to deliver the winning solutionDetailed tasks description and responsibilities:Responsible for in-time delivery of winning proposalsLead the bid team, providing bid management direction and engagement within the teamManage and take active part in the creation of the bid deliverables and ensuring review and governance, leading to a high-quality proposalEnsure that cost estimates/target budgets are provided with support of system engineering and product managementCoordinate with all non-technical stakeholders of the bid team, such as contract management, legal, tax, insurance, export control, and financeEnsure that cost estimates are effectively reviewed to ensure competitive and winning pricingSupport Sales/Capture Leader in negotiations and presentationsEnsure a smooth transition from bids to projectsEnsure customer satisfaction and maintain Thales processesEducation:Engineering or economics degreeExperience:Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in bid management or similar project managementExperience in the use of planning tools (MS Projects) as well as typical office tools such as MS OfficeVery good language skills in English and French, spoken and writtenItalian or other languages are a plusGood knowledge of relevant national/international regulations and standards for air traffic control desirableOther competencies:Ability to drive the right bid solutions to conclusion across complex multi-faced organizational and stakeholder boundariesResult orientedInterpersonal and verbal communication skills with written presentation and reporting writing skillsIndependence and creativity in solving problemsTeam leadership skills, lateral leadershipStrength in dealing with international teamsWillingness to occasional travels worldwideAt Thales, we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
