**Purpose of the Job**
Manage accurate and competitive costing of tenders according to Alstom financial rules
**Responsibilities**
- Support Bid Manager, Tender Leader and Tax Expert in defining the proper and most competitive offer
- Ensure that Alstom financial rules are followed and standard costing/pricing tools are properly used
- Support Bid Manager in target cost definition
- Request, consolidate and challenges the cost estimates from all internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute in identifying actions to reach target costs or improve offer competitiveness
- Supports Bid Manager and Tender Leader in defining the tender Risks and Ambitions
- Contribute to Price List preparation
- Prepare cost analysis (target costs, benchmarks with similar tenders/projects, competitiveness) to support the deliver of winning bids
- Defines the tender planning related to costing/pricing
**Knowledge & Experience**
- MSc in Economics or Management Engineering or equivalent
- High Communications skills, reporting capabilities
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Resilience and ability to work within a limited time period and under stressful condition
- High capability to team working
- Excellent knowledge of Ms Excel; knowledge of VBA is a plus
- Sense of anticipation
- Fluent in English
