Responsible for operating Holy Grounds as an independent unit and assuming all the responsibilities with that role since a manager is not present at all times.
This person will work with management and co-workers to instill and foster the value of the Villanova Mission Statement and the Dining Services Mission Statement.

Greets each customer promptly and courteously.
Treat each customer as your highest priority, being mindful of customers who are waiting.Shares coffee and tea knowledge while actively selling all products.
Advises customers of new coffees or teas or featured items of the week.
Prepares all drinks according to Holy Grounds standards.Maintains the cleanliness and attractiveness of the Holy Ground kiosk by keeping counters and displays cleaned and fully stocked.
Makes sure all products are labeled correctly.Operates cash registers using proper cash handling techniques of Villanova Dining Services.Assists manager with scheduling of student associates.
Responsible for enforcing the uniform standards of all student associates.Performs other duties and assists with projects as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Interest in coffee required.
Will need to sample and test products for quality assurance.Cashiering experience of 1-2 years.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong customer service skills.Dress and grooming appropriate for Holy Grounds Concept.Able to handle numerous tasks at once.Preferred QualificationsSav Serve CertificationPhysical Requirements and/or Unusual Work HoursAbility to lift up to 30 pounds independently.Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.Ability to push/pull up to 30 pounds independently.Ability to use various chemicals.
