About the role: Supervise and oversee the service of banquet functions as assigned by the Assistant Banqueting Manager or Banqueting Manager What will you do: Participates coordinate the preparation, set-up, service, and clearing, during banquet functions.
Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection's, origin, taste, and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality while making self available to guests, clients, and group contacts to ensure satisfaction Train, motivate, recommend discipline and supervise the work of food servers ensuring that that all cultural and core standards are met.
Cooperate with Stewarding Department in order to organize storages, equipment and function areas.
What you bring: High school education or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year food service or related work, previous supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
Requires a working knowledge of banquet service as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food beverage computer systems.
Requires strong written and verbal skills.
Ability to read and speak English and Italian.
