Overview:The Banqueting and Events Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of all the events and will be part of the Banqueting Team, reporting directly to the Banqueting and Events Manager.The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in special assignments and projects that will enhance their career development and growth.Responsibilities:Assisting in the planning, implementation, and follow-up for all special events and buyouts.Coordination of events' logistics, including public relations, production, and distribution of Event Riders.Assisting the process of events' budget development and fulfillment.Supervising vendors' activities with basic setup and dismantling of setups of events, coordinating vendors' activities, and ensuring procedures are followed and in compliance with the property rules.Crisis management if necessary.Responsible for administrative duties such as filing, data entry, collecting data for periodical reporting, and sales calls reports.Work closely with the Banqueting and Events Manager to fulfill internal and external event planning committees and client groups to define event goals.Represent and deliver service excellence that is in line with the organization's brand.Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in the same role is preferred.Fluent in verbal and written English.Excellent team worker and oriented to details.Proactive with excellent communication skills and customer service experience.Ability to accurately work multitasking under pressure with attention to details.Benefits:Excellent growth and progression opportunity as an Events Professional in all Aman properties.Opportunity to help drive strategies, creative problem solving, and shape each of our special events.Company uniform, laundry service, and Buoni Pasto on duty.
