----- RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Play a meaningful role in the overall success of events by providing assistance to the banquet department as well as aiding in set up and take down of all banquet and meeting events.
- Work closely with the Banquet Servers to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Set-up, clean and maintain meeting and banquet rooms following the standards of service as set by hotel management.
- Responsible for accurate cleaning and setting of banquet functions and meeting rooms.
- Care and storage of all equipment such as tables and chairs, operating equipment such as cutlery, glassware and chinaware.
- Servicing meeting rooms.
- Provide outstanding service and ridiculously personable experiences!
What You Bring: - High School Diploma is preferred.
- 1 year of experience in customer service or similar position.
- Prior hospitality experience and/or experience in large banqueting operations work preferred.
- The ideal candidate will be organised and ambitious (go-getter!)
- Passion for customer service and good verbal communication skills, basic writing skills.
- Strong work ethic, ability to read floor-plans, work independently and has a strong attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
