About the Backend Software Engineer
We are seeking a dynamic Backend Software Engineer to join our Team Engine based in Pisa.
Team Engine is responsible for the development and maintenance of services related to real-time bidding: these services handle millions of advertising requests per second managed by clusters distributed around the world.
Furthermore, bidding services interact with real-time reporting systems, as well as various data ingestion and backup systems of different formats and types. This requires collaboration with all the other teams, including Team Data Science for the use of algorithms, Team Platform for managing user/admin configurations, and Team Big Data for the management of data produced by the bidding components.
The Engine team follows the classic Agile work planning according to the Scrum methodology, following all its ceremonies.
