Avionics Hardware Engineerwith expertise in DO-254 compliance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, verifying, and certifying hardware components for avionic systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical skills in hardware design, verification, and validation processes, along with a deep understanding of DO-254 guidelines. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality avionic hardware solutions that meet stringent safety and reliability standards.
Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of avionics hardware designs in compliance with DO-254 guidelines throughout the entire development lifecycle.Define hardware requirements, architectures, and interfaces based on system-level specifications and safety objectives.Perform hardware design activities, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection, considering factors such as reliability, power consumption, and environmental constraints.Conduct thorough verification and validation activities, including simulation, testing, and analysis, to ensure compliance with DO-254 objectives and project requirements.Develop and maintain detailed hardware design documentation, including plans, requirements, design descriptions, verification procedures, and compliance records.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software engineers, and certification specialists, to integrate hardware components into overall avionic systems.Interface with regulatory authorities, certification agencies, and customers to support the certification process and address any hardware-related issues or concerns.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in avionics hardware technology, and apply relevant knowledge to improve development processes and product performance.Workplace:Milan (East)
Requisiti:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Extensive experience (5+ years) in avionics hardware design and development, with a focus on DO-254 compliance.In-depth knowledge of DO-254 guidelines, processes, and objectives, with proven experience in successfully certifying avionic hardware components.Proficiency in hardware design tools and software, such as schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Cadence).Experience with hardware verification and validation techniques, including simulation, testing, and analysis methods.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and propose effective solutions.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams and interface with external stakeholders.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and certification processes in the aviation industry is a plus.What we offer:An employment contract commensurate with your profile.Responsibility and growth opportunities.Flexible and dynamic environment.Flat organizational structure.International environment.Welfare benefits.Health insurance.Please send your CV with a photo in Word or PDF format and only if you meet the required qualifications.
