Main activities: Work with customers to gather and define technical requirements for avionics systems and transform them into Hardware and Software specifications.
Design and develop computational models and algorithms for avionics equipment intended for airborne systems management, navigation, mission and attitude control.
Contribute to hardware and software design, including driver configuration, board management and boot, and systems synchronization.
Support electronic, mechanical, thermal, and power design of equipment.
Work closely with software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to develop, validate, and maintain proposed solutions.
Resolve obsolescence issues and take care of integration between hardware and software components.
Ensure optimization and redundancy of avionics systems through meticulous, detail-oriented work.
Technical skills required: Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, with reference to sensor interfacing (temperature, pressure, etc.)

Familiarity with real-time embedded systems and serial and non-serial interface protocols.
Low-level programming skills (C, C++ or similar) and understanding of computer architectures, registers and processors.
Understanding of computing concepts such as shared memory, tasks and priorities, pointers, bottlenecks, and memory management (NVRAM, Flash, RAM, cache).
Course of study: Bachelor's Degree in Computer engineering, electronics or related disciplines.
