RINA is currently recruiting for a Avionic Software Engineer to join its office in Torino within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
The content of the work will be aimed at analysis, design and SW development activities of applications in the avionics domain.
Key Accountabilities
The following technical skills are required:
Knowledge and experience in object-oriented, multi-task and multi-thread programming Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C++, ADA, Java) Knowledge of the Python language Knowledge of basic communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, serial) Knowledge of the SW life cycle (requirements, design, coding, verification and testing) Knowledge of configuration management and code versioning tools (SVN, Git) Good written and spoken knowledge of the English language The following skills are considered preferential:
Previous experience in SW development in the avionics domain Experience in the analysis and definition of requirements (DOORS tool) and in design (with UML modeling) Knowledge of markup languages (XML, JSON) Knowledge and experience in using model-based design tools (e.g. Simulink, SCADE) with automatic code generation Knowledge of relational databases Knowledge of real-time programming for embedded systems with real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks, Integrity, PikeOS) Knowledge of avionics standards (RTCA DO-178C) The profile is completed by:

Bachelor's Degree
Master's Degree in Engineering General
