RINA is currently recruiting for a Avionic Safety & Security Engineer to join its office in ROME within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission This role focuses on providing support to engineers in designing solutions, products, systems or structures, respecting safety and security aspects.
Key Accountabilities Definition of a Security Risk Assessment process for complex airborne systems based on reference standards & guidelines. Definition of a methodology that integrates Cyber Security, Safety, Information Security (Infosec), System Development Life Cycle, Model Base System Engineering and Airworthiness Certification. Definition of generic Cyber Resilience requirements to be used for aeronautical equipment/systems. Definition of internal standards for the design and development of Secure Code. Execution of Security Risk Assessment in the different design phases of complex airborne systems and support and maintenance systems. Identification and testing of specific test tools for the verification of security requirements. Support for technical meetings and/or project reviews. Education Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Cyber Security.
Qualifications Knowledge of Model Base System Engineering and System Development Life Cycle for complex systems. Basic knowledge of safety analysis methodologies and knowledge of Infosec aspects. Knowledge of national and international regulations relating to cyber security and cyber resilience aspects. Knowledge of methodologies and/or tools for cyber attacks. Experience in performing Security Risk Analysis for complex IT systems. Experience in applying specific regulations for airborne systems. Excellent knowledge of the English language.
