YOUR TASKS:
Carry out disassembling, cleaning, blasting, inspection/testing and assembly of wheels and brakes as well as their substructure components within scope of authorizations. Rectification of all defects found on components during inspection within scope of authorizations. Certify work performed by others within scope of authorizations. Provide training to new staff and trainees as and when required. Use of maintenance data, carry out and sign-off job cards within scope of authorizations. Work/task distribution to others according to qualification and experience, workload, work priorities. Issue Project Release to service and EASA FORM1 for components within scope of authorizations. Ensure proper usage and storage of tools and equipment, ensuring all special equipment is used according to approved manuals and having sufficient qualification, knowledge, and experience. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Minimum age: 21 years. Education: Proven completed vocational training/apprenticeship certificate in a field conducive to release activity of aircraft wheels and brakes. or An Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) related to the type and scope of the release activity. or An aeronautical diploma or certificate from the relevant field, which is conducive to the release activity. or Technical school diploma/certificate. or Military diploma or certificate related to the release activity, aeronautical diploma or certificate. Experience qualification acquired within the last 12 months of practical maintenance experience or equivalent experience at another approved aircraft or components maintenance organization – logbooks and/or company authorization certificates. English language – sufficient reading & written, a working knowledge of the language in which the maintenance data is published (mainly in English). Knowledge of the ERP system – AMOS (advantage).
