We are seeking a Automotive Acoustic Specialist with a background in Electronics Engineering to join our team.
This role focuses on testing and optimizing sound quality in vehicles, working closely with development teams to ensure the seamless integration of audio systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in acoustics and sound measurement, along with proven experience in integrating audio systems into automotive environments.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct acoustic tests and measurements within vehicles to evaluate sound quality and the performance of audio systems.
Utilize measurement tools such as REW (Room EQ Wizard), Head Acoustics, and other software to calibrate and optimize audio systems.
Analyze test results to identify and address acoustic issues, including reverberation, external noise, and interference.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement solutions that enhance vehicle acoustic performance.
Verify the integration of audio systems with vehicles using CAN bus protocols.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports for both clients and internal teams.
Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of acoustics and measurement techniques, with the ability to perform audio tests and analyze data related to reverberation, background noise, and sound propagation within vehicle cabins.
Experience with automotive audio systems, including knowledge of DSP (Digital Signal Processing), equalization, and audio system configuration.
Proficiency in using acoustic measurement tools such as REW, Head Acoustics, Matlab, Simulink, or similar software for analysis and acoustic simulation.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols, particularly CAN bus and other vehicle networks.
Exceptional attention to detail in measurements and data interpretation.
Nice to Have: Experience with acoustic simulation in virtual environments.
