As an Automation Software Programmer you will join our Automation Office, which is part of the Engineering Area of EssilorLuxottica. The main responsibilities will be the following:
Vision software development for robot guidance, quality control and dimensional inspection Vision system design in terms of hardware and optical setup definition (optics, lighting systems, cameras) Software applications development for industrial automation using vision systems Requirements and technical specifications definition related to human-machine interface programming Installation, testing and startup of automated systems Suppliers management for software development for industrial automation Software technical support PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE You do not see problems, you just see solutions You love challenges and you take your responsibility seriously Experience in programming and software design of vision systems (in particular robot guidance and calibration techniques) using Cognex products in the InSight environment Experience in optics and lighting, applied in industrial vision systems Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (mainly Ethernet-IP, OPC, CIP protocol) Basic knowledge and previous experience with industrial robots You are a flexible person, able to adapt in a context of constant change You can proactively organize your time and activities to get things done WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
