The AS Watson Group eLab Technology department is looking for a passionate Automation QA Specialist to join the team in Milan. The Automation QA Specialist will be dedicated both to the automated software validation and reporting for the eCommerce platform on all the Group Business Units over Europe and responsible to assure a quality service to the client on test of new releases and fixes as part of the software development lifecycle. A typical day in this role includes: Bug lifecycle management: from the opening till the validation Produce reports on QA activities Strong coding skills to implement the test cases based on the specified steps and verification points Programming languages: java, python is a plus APIs tests skills Confidence with code versioning, design patterns, CI/CD tools Able to estimate and plan own test activities efforts Daily communication with cross-functional teams and the BUs to ensure the quality throughout the test automation process Support junior colleagues Informs QA Lead about issues and priorities Could be required to travel across Europe This role would be a good fit for you if: You are endowed with very good written and verbal communications skills You are proactive with a high attention to detail You can easily work in a team You are good at interpersonal relationship You get satisfaction though daily personal improvements You are results driven You are humble and willing to adapt to changes You are passionate about technology stacks and QA processes You equally like coding and supporting the team processes and flows What you'll need: Degree in Computer Science Engineering or another related field 2/3 years of experience in retail or consulting company Knowledge of e-commerce, mobile, multichannel and/or digital application systems.
