**Responsibilities**:
- The Athletic Trainer (AT) provides performance enhancement, tailored strength and conditioning, preventive maintenance, and referrals to next level medical care if needed.
- The Athletic Trainer will perform the initial evaluation, design individual training programs, and establish records for all fighter aircrew personnel as well as provide prehabilitative services to individual fighter aircrew with the intention to strengthen the core musculoskeletal (MSK) system to enhance resistance to neck and back injury.
- The Athletic Trainer will also help design a MSK strengthening and healthy lifestyle education program as part of an overall health maintenance program to enhance injury resistance.
- The Athletic Trainer will advise unit commanders and individuals on matters related to injury prevention and identify opportunities for improvement, develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) for fitness programs.
**Security**:
- Must be able to pass a background check and able to obtain a Common Access Care (CaC)
**Education**:
- Possess a Master' s degree in Athletic Training
- Must be a current licensed Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) process.
- No other degree will be accepted for this position.
**REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Possess at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience as an Athletic Trainer.
- Demonstrated experience with professional and/or collegiate sports.
