ATC System Design Engineer for signaling systems will be in charge of:
Identifying and analyzing the input documentation and Customer requirements; Identifying and analyzing the requirements (contractualand technical system requirements); defining the functions, the architecture and the interfaces of the signalling system being the transportation standard in Italy and all over Europe designing the system and its configuration, developing the relevant documentation; interfacing the Customer and the other partners; participating to the meetings with other Alstom teams in Italy and worldwide; applying processes, methods & tool in accordance to Alstom standards; Supporting the deployment of system Generic Application versus Specific Application project teams in charge on project execution carrying our design testing of the system until its delivery to the Verification and Validation team; supporting laboratory tests and on-site activities; contributing in improving the sustainable and innovative transportation standard of the future. Required skills
Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably telecommunication, electronics and mobility. Master degree will be a plus Graduate or preferably 2 years' experience Goal-oriented, problem-solving, team working approach Flexibility and Trouble shooting skills Basics of networks and communication protocols English (minimum B2) Interest to learn continuously, to improve technical and behavioral skill in dynamic environment Previous experience and backgroung in railway, metro signalling business or in a complex and regulatory asset environment (railway, aerospace, defense ...) would be a plus and a major asset Location: Bologna, Rome or Bari site
