The Ass VP will be responsible for GA, Policy, Institutional communication and Advocacy
Government Affairs
- create and protect an innovation-friendly environment while working to ensure access for patients taking care of the relationship, partnership and negotiation with local regulatory entities.
- ensure launch plans have robust strategies
- have a responsibility to understand the access environment, the political environment and the social landscape in the assigned market
- inform the shape of the product, and how it will be targeted to best meet the needs of the patient, as well as appeal to payers.
This involves close working with disciplines like market access.
Policy
- coordinate policy and public affairs strategy,
- develop policy positions in support of Lilly's mission
- collaborate with internal partners to develop and communicate messages to external stakeholders in support of policies that improve patient health outcomes and advance medical research and innovation
- cultivate public awareness of key issues and needed policy changes.
- ensuring the company is seen as a trusted partner in a wide range of organizations.
