A Day in the Life Medtronic is hiring a Technical Consultant for an open position within the CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) line of business, with responsibility for the entire Lombardy territory. In this role, you will play a critical part in improving patient outcomes by providing key technical expertise to cardiologists, sales representatives, and other functions, primarily supporting implant and follow-up procedures. You will also be involved in presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions on how to implant, use, and follow up on products such as pacemakers and implantable defibrillators.
As a liaison between sales personnel and customers, you will be responsible for managing customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations, both on-site and at client locations throughout Lombardy. You will be part of a team, in a home-based role, under a permanent contract.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Providing implant and follow-up support to sales staff and customer personnel, such as cardiologists and nurses, with technical information on specific devices. Offering technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions, and customers. Leading technical presentations, product demonstrations, trainings, and educational sessions on products like pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. Supplying sales personnel with technical data required for product demonstrations. Delivering technical or scientific presentations at sales meetings and customer locations, while managing and maintaining devices at customer sites in support of sales teams. Conducting on-site educational and consulting meetings, and supporting customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations. Managing consignment products and devices. Serving as a liaison between sales teams and customers. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in bioengineering. Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, customers, and patients. Willingness to travel within the Lombardy territory and as needed across Italy. Proficiency in written and spoken English (at least level B2). Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to support physicians in addressing technical challenges. Effective communication skills with healthcare professionals. Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable. Residence within the Lombardy territory. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is considered a plus.
