Associate Scientist (Maternity Replacement) – GSK Institute for Global HealthJob purposeAs Associate Scientist you will:Executes scientific experiments under limited supervision contributing to the conception, design, and interpretation of scientific data in support of research projectsParticipate in scientific collaborations and reporting of data in technical reports and scientific journalsMaintains required documentation for processes and equipmentKey Responsibilities:Participates in the design of scientific research experiments under limited directionWorks closely under the direction of scientific staff for the implementation of scientific experiments, data collection and their interpretationEnsure timely data collection, & reporting (including participation to internal/external scientific documents) in area of responsibilityEnsure highest ethical standards, good scientific practices & data integrity are implemented in daily scientific activitiesParticipates in writing internal/external reports and scientific documents in support of internal projectsPrepares and presents scientific data in internal meetingsBasic Qualifications: University degree in Biotechnology, Biology or CTFExperience with protein purification and/or fermentationGood level of spoken, conversational and written EnglishCuriosity, willingness to learn and passion for scientific research will make the difference.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the main purification techniques aimed mainly at "Primary Recovery" :Tangential Flow Filtration, Continuous Centrifugation and Cellular Lysis.Understand, interpret, and clearly communicate scientific data.Demonstrate agility and ability to learn new methods and ways of working to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.Have good team player capacityJob posting end date: April 28th, 2024Why GSK?
