Functional responsibilitiesAs part of the Learning Innovation Programme, the Associate Programme Officer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning solutions, products, and services for ITCILO Training Department, outside customers, and constituents, with a particular focus on the newly established portfolio on UN2.0 'Quintet of Change' to strengthen the innovation and communication expertise in the fields of digital, innovation, foresight, and behavioral science.
Specifically, the incumbent is responsible for:
Shape and co-manage learning activities within the UN2.0 cluster and leverage the communication activities across the UN Innovation Network;Empower learners and trainers with data and AI affordances, including generative AI tools for better course content, using data and AI to empower instructional designers and trainers and developing practical awareness about learning data, processes, and analytics;Elaborate and scale-up the strategic foresight portfolio which includes the design and conduct of strategic foresight labs and the application of strategic foresight methodologies in non-training services;Develop proposals for internal and external clients that require the integration of behavioral insights into communication projects;Set up e-learning platforms in function of technology-enhanced learning projects led by the Learning Innovation Programme with a specific focus on innovation and digital inclusion;At the request of external clients, act as advisor/provide input in the instructional design, development, and implementation of innovative learning and knowledge sharing solutions;Facilitate and act as Trainer in Innovation and Communication Labs aiming at supporting the institutional capacity of stakeholders and partners' organizations;Carry out, as requested, any other assignment in connection with the functions of Associate Programme Officer within the Learning Innovation Programme.Qualifications requiredEducationUniversity degree in design thinking, development cooperation, digital media design, strategic foresight, behavioral economics, adult education, or any other relevant degree.
ExperienceAt least three years of relevant professional experience in the area of communication and innovation projects at the national level and one year in the context of international cooperation and development of projects and activities.
LanguagesExcellent command of English and French.
Knowledge of a third language among the following will be considered an asset: Portuguese, Spanish, or Arabic.
