The Operations Practice (OPS) Area is one of BCG's largest functional practices. We help our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities. BCG's expertise in Operations covers the following areas - supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, service operations, cost efficiency, operational transformation, research & product development, program and project management, all with a strong digital and analytics overlay.
What You'll Do
You will be a fundamental part of the team and work alongside some of the world's top minds in the industry, significantly contributing to the development of diverse topics and support our ambitious growth targets. In this context, you will work hand in hand with C-levels and key decision makers of our clients, while playing a critical role in the firm's project teams, contributing to the analysis, design, and implementation of business strategies for clients across various industries.
You will:
Work on impactful projects that combine a deep understanding of the specific business with BCG's trademark strategic expertise
Play a role in the growth on diverse topics through case execution and client development
Work on top priority topics while gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to understand complex business challenges
Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to derive insights and develop strategic recommendations
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that the solutions proposed are tailored to the client's specific context. This involves frequent interactions with client team members and stakeholders
Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to both the BCG project team and client stakeholders.
Work across a range of industries and functions with the aim of developing a deep expertise in specific areas over time
What You'll Bring
We're looking for exceptional talent to join us. You would typically have:
2-5 years of relevant experience in industry related and/or consulting roles
Strong academic track record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel frequently
