Recruit, hire, manage and develop staff and contractors.
Ensure training plan, shadow audit plan and Performance Improvement Plan continues to evolve and deadlines are met.
Ensure prep process for the rollout of new programs - training auditors, RRs, coordinators and manage client expectations.
Ensure accreditation process is completed, including training, for schemes.
Daily follow up of implementation of strategies and QA improvement.
Monitor and follow up queries or feedback from Clients.
Respond to auditor/team questions as needed.
Qualities we look for:
4-year college degree in a major of Scientific discipline, HR, Occupational Health and Safety or Environment / an advanced degree is preferred
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in social compliance auditing
APSCA registered
SA8000 Auditor Certification, ISO 14001, BSCICertification or equivalent is a plus
Strong business acumen
Customer service orientation and results orientated
Effective problem solving and negotiation skills
Excellent English verbal and written, communication skills.
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet-research /reporting/analysis tools
Maintains a global perspective and is culturally sensitive and aware
Ability to travel 30% of the time
Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
Comfortable with confrontation, with a diplomatic and easy demeanor
Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with persons of varying socio-economic status
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Interest in international Importante Azienda standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, and environmental issues
Possess knowledge of International and local Importante Azienda standards and human rights issues are preferred
