Monitor the sanitizer for the proper efficiency level. Monitor and record temperatures. Scrape, clean, and sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and cooking containers.Dispose of garbage and trash.Maintains a clean and neat work and storage area. Cleans and maintains dishwasher. Drains all trucks/carts/trash cans/docks.Store all clean equipment for future use.Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.Basic knowledge of food handling, equipment sanitation and storage, safety equipment relating to dish area.Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to work independently. Basic reading and writing skills. Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks. Ability to work with minimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications: Previous food service experience preferred.Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Tools, machinery and equipment used: Power Wash Sink, Gloves, Safety Glasses, Dish machine, Floor machine, LeanPath.Environmental conditions: Ability to use chemicals as required, and use proper protective equipment as called for by the specific chemical and task.Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently. Ability to sit stand for extended periods. Ability to push/pull up to 30 pounds independently.
