Experience developing innovative and pragmatic approaches to complex legal challenges accounting for factual and jurisdictional nuance
Ability to independently, quickly and accurately assess legal, practical and business risks and to present this advice to legal and non-legal leadership personnel
Proven ability to successfully manage large-scale projects and lead on complex matters
Flexibility and eagerness to work on a broad range of legal matters in collaboration with wider legal team on European regulatory and litigation matters and liaising with regulators
Coordinate with public policy and communications colleagues on external communication, policy and product development, and enforcement decisions
Monitor and respond to developments in data protection and information security (i.e., new laws, regulations, important judgements, regulatory guidance, etc.
)
Passion for and understanding of technology
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified to practice law in at least one EU jurisdiction
In-depth knowledge of legal issues in the area of online social media platforms including an excellent understanding of GDPR and data protection laws
Minimum of 8 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience (e.g.
at a law firm or as in-house counsel)
Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills
Proven ability to successfully manage large-scale projects
