, PhilippinesJob Family Group:Production Engineering UpstreamWorker Type:RegularPosting Start Date:Business unit:Projects and TechnologyExperience Level: Early CareersJob Description: Description:The Perform Hydrocarbon and Energy Accounting process provides accurate product, deferment/downtime, energy and GHG data and information to enable asset performance management.Technical Asset Operations (TAO) works in the space of HCA across Shell both with Global Programmed and Operating Units to drive sustainable improvement through assurance and cost savings through a centralized model leveraging the scale of the Shell Business Operations Centers (SBOs).The HCA team, in TAO, is responsible for performing, improving and sustaining efficient allocation within assets delivering allocation results accurate and aligned with global standards.This includes maintaining the PHEA AMS operationalized shall statements including data acquisition, verification, allocation, review and report. The process is executed to perform reconciliation of sales volumes back to the Perforation/well completion and making that data available to State regulatory bodies and operating partners, thereby maintaining compliance and holding the lease to operate. The allocated volumes facilitate the payments made to different stakeholders (partners/royalty owners/regulatory agencies).Principal Accountabilities:As a central support team, this role is expected to support the following activities:EC Tool Support & HCA Process Support, Data Management & Quality Support within ECTimely provision of allocation volumes based on the measurement provided by each assetReporting of quarterly appraisal, production and deferments (ex: Integrated Loss Management)Perform Daily / Monthly allocationReporting of Production Vs Sales volume for each assetMonthly reporting of Allocated Sales (splits) to pipelines, partners, revenueDS Mass Balancing activity & BenchmarkingSupport in monthly regulatory report submissionSupport in reconciling volumetric variancesSupport in review of monthly compliance reportingReporting of monthly production accruals & Sales accruals, reconcile estimated to actual production and thereby supporting month on month production / sales variance analysisArrange meetings to discuss the quality of allocation with operations, allocation, measurements & midstream teamsDemonstrate & apply Continuous Improvement Mindset by proactively discussing & Supporting standardization and automation initiativesFlexibility of working in multiple time zonesSupport internal / external audits and the related queries.Support Revenue Accounting team in monthly reconciliation of sales volume and shipper balance.Support Project works (if any) as required.Key Challenges:Working with multiple stakeholders, tools and workflowsAnalyzing and providing most reliable data on time for various review processDemystify the process complexity and identify simplification opportunitiesJob Knowledge, Skills & Experience:To 1 year of direct industry experience in Oil Production Accounting and Revenue cycle.Specific experience working with Oil & gas plant is requiredStrong analytical skill, organizational skills and attention to details.Education/Experience: Excellent track record of managing technical data with a University Degree in Engineering (preferably Petroleum)Awareness of real time data and applications (PI)Awareness of Asset HierarchySkill level at data visualization tools (Spotfire/Power Bi)Knowledge in Data ModelingKnowledge level in data cleansing and migration techniquesExperience in Production Information systems and DataCandidate should have a good understanding of Oil & Gas Business.Good communication skills is required in both Written & Verbal form.Good exposure with MS Office tools precisely - Excel, Access, PPT.Excellent presentation skills with understanding on Business conversations and priorities.The Job involves interactions and deliverables to key business leaders and high profiles stakeholders.
