At Eli Lilly, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Associate Director - Supply Chain Customer Service Master Data to act as the primary liaison between our Global Launch Leader and the Manufacturing Site.
This role, reporting directly to the Executive Director - Finance Procurement and Supply Chain, will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication between the Global Supply Chain, Global Logistics, and the site teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities across both Global and Local New Product teams to ensure that products are launched on the market as planned.
You will guide, direct, and prioritize the activities of the Master Team while managing and coordinating the development of the Customer Service Team.
This role demands excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, strong written and verbal communication, decision-making ability, and interpersonal skills.
You should also be able to anticipate potential issues and develop and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the Authorized Representative for customs operations related to import and export, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Lead and manage the Customer Service Team, ensuring service delivery and process optimization excellence.
Oversee, coordinate, and develop the Master Data Team with the Data Steward PPM Manager, ensuring alignment with health, safety, quality, and performance guidelines.
Monitor operational standards to comply with AEO and Know Consignee certification requirements.
Oversee demand monitoring processes and all shipping preparation activities to meet customer needs.
Support customer service metrics and performance indicators to maintain high service levels.
Manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial accountability.
Collaborate with the Production Planner and the parenteral network to implement sourcing strategies and global processes according to Affiliate requirements.
Ensure compliance with all SOPs and company regulations.
Act as the single point of contact between the Global Launch Team and Local Operational Teams, ensuring alignment with launch timelines.
Liaise with forwarders to resolve issues related to cost efficiency, SLA, and QA requirements, leveraging Corporate/Procurement logistics.
Escalate issues appropriately to customers and internal resources as needed.
Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering or Scientific fields.
Fluent in English.
Familiarity with processes, systems, and products, including SAP, Parenteral Business, and essential Finance.
Project management skills or certification is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and maintain a positive, calm attitude.
Proven success in leadership and talent development.
Strong organizational skills, preferably with project management experience.
Demonstrated effective communication skills across multiple organizational levels.
