Job ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Director of Annual Giving Strategies, the Associate Director of Digital Fundraising will be responsible for managing digital solicitation and stewardship communications with the goal of acquiring, retaining, and cultivating donors.
The Associate Director will oversee all aspects of Villanova Annual Giving's web presence and giving vehicles, including opportunities for enhancement.
The Associate Director will:
Lead the strategy for Advancement's integrated digital fundraising campaigns.Plan and execute the digital fundraising efforts for 1842 Day, Villanova's annual day of giving.Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GiveCampus, Blackbaud's Fundraiser Performance Management, Cognos, Power BI, and/or other platforms to analyze the performance of digital fundraising and stewardship strategies.Support overall Annual Giving and University Advancement initiatives to meet campaign goals.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree required.Three to five years of experience in digital fundraising and/or marketing, preferably in nonprofit or education.Strong planning and administrative skills, ability to manage simultaneous projects, priorities, and deadlines.Excellent verbal and writing skills, committed work ethic, ability to collaborate and communicate internally and externally.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with social media, email communication, and other digital technologies required.Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook required.Preferred QualificationsMaster's preferred, preferably in Business/Marketing/Communications.Experience applying data insights to build strategic initiatives and measure results, including A/B testing and user optimization.Knowledge and skills in fundraising and online solicitation strategies strongly preferred.Experience fundraising for or advocating on behalf of underrepresented groups preferred.Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.Physical RequirementsOccasional evening and weekend work required.
Salary InformationSalary commensurate with experience.
Salary Band: 15.
